Development of an innovative technological and functional platform for criminal investigation police and intelligence services, facilitating the collection of evidence of crime using information available from open sources (social networks, forums, blogosphere, images, audio and video) by parsing them automatically.
The system is capable of analyzing large amounts of information and extracting from it implicit relationships, patterns and actors, among others, through modules dedicated to the analysis of video and image, audio and text in several languages, composed by crawling and data mining algorithms. , for the selective and targeted collection of content.

The IMP_4.0 platform was developed and properly supported by a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), which integrates the services in a generic and standardized way, making it available to the market as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The project aimed to improve the performance of the Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, SA, Braga MFE1 unit in the development and management of industrialization projects, in order to be more competitive in attracting new projects and more efficient in carrying out ongoing projects.
With this project, the MFE1 unit achieves recognition as the leading unit in the establishment and definition of new industrialization project management practices and the provision of IT technologies to support industrialization project management throughout the Car Multimedia division.
