This project aims to create the Fibrenamics Green platform for the transfer of scientific and technical knowledge from the University of Minho, through CVR, to companies, to develop innovative technologies and products based on textile, footwear, furniture, automobiles and construction waste.

Co-financed project by the European Union through FEDER- European Regional Development Fund, framed in NORTH 2020 – Northern Regional Operational Program 2014-2020.

Project goals:

• Promote knowledge transfer, interdisciplinary and multisectoral, through various integration activities between the different agents involved, particularly entities related to research and development and companies, to enhance the generation of innovation;
• Development of integration and demonstration activities that will enable the sharing and knowledge generation for the establishment of new waste recovery projects incorporating science and technology, exchanging university-company involvement and synergies.
